I’m very happy to be featured again on a Flop House podcast. I decided to arrange a version of their theme song for the Christmas season, and you can hear the result below right at the beginning of the show.
I tried to mix their theme with Jingle Bells (featuring sleigh bells) and the Leroy Anderson classic “Sleigh Ride” complete with whip and horse whinny. It didn’t all come together until I added one final element, which was a bass part that sound to me just like the synth bass used by John Williams for the Cantina Band in “Star Wars.”
